A few simple steps can transform plain items into something special.
First Step: Cut the foil into whatever shape you want using scissors, craft knife or craft punches.
Next: Put the cut shapes into a dish of water for a minute or two until the backing paper slides off easily, put the shape on the item, you can slide it into position quite easily, use your fingers to press away any air bubbles and dab with kitchen paper to remove any excess moisture.
Now: Leave the item at room temperature for 24 hours to dry thoroughly.
Finally: Bake in a domestic oven at 180°C for 30 minutes then turn off the oven and leave to cool.
The End: The finished item can be handwashed quite safely.
