Hi Everyone, here’s another Valentine card, something a bit more flamboyant this time. Our heart shaped plastic shaker domes make quick work of a Valentine shaker card and the ready made paper saves time on the background, so although it looks time consuming it’s not . The pink and gold colour scheme along with the die cut flourishes and pearls creates a luxurious feel.

Hand made Valentine shaker card with pearls and die cut flourishes

Start with a white 12cm square white blank card and layer it with a sheet of pink patterned paper.

Hand cut an arrow shape from gold card and adhere diagonally across the front of the card. Make a small pile of gold sequins and pink seed beads in the centre of the card, adhering a couple of the sequins in the area that will be under the shaker dome. Glue around the rim of the shaker dome and adhere in position in the centre of the card. Stick pink adhesive pearls all round the rim of the shaker dome.

Die cut two flourishes from gold card, use a Quickie glue pen to adhere them to the top of the card. Don’t glue all the way to the ends of the flourishes, allowing them to curl up and over the shaker dome slightly, continuing the dimensional look of the card.

Complete the card with a gold peel off message in the bottom right corner.

I love shaker cards so this ticks the box for me, hope you like it too.
Thanks for reading.
