Hi everyone, here’s a pretty card with some fussy cut and coloured butterflies. I cut the butterflies from one of the pages in the Paper Flowers 12 x 12 paper pad.

I was interested to see how they turned out as they started life printed in purple on a lilac background. I picked three sizes of butterfly and fussy cut them, then coloured them in to coordinate with the patterned paper that I had chosen from the 6 x 6 version of the Paper Flowers pad. I coloured them with Copic markers, the colours were strong enough to cover the purple and lilac.

Take an A6 cream blank card and layer it with light turquoise card, cut a 4.5cm strip of patterned paper from the 6 x 6 paper pad and adhere it to the right hand side of the card leaving an approximate 1cm margin from the right hand side.
Die cut a 7.5cm stitched circle and stamp Best Wishes in the centre with Stone pigment ink. Adhere this to the centre of the card overlapping the strip of patterned paper. Bend the wings up a little on the three butterflies and adhere them to the card above and below the sentiment circle, use ultra strong tape to adhere the butterflies to make sure they stay in place.
