With Christmas fast approaching, time for card making is running out. This card is a great last minute design, it is easy to make but still looks great. There are any number of ways you can change the design and colour scheme. I think it would look equally good with mirror card in place of the glitter card too.

Hand made Christmas card with embossing and die cut glitter card tree

Make the Card

Start with a 5x 7 inch white blank card. Cut green glitter card 4mm smaller and adhere to the card base. Take white card cut to 4mm smaller than the glitter card and cut it diagonally from about 4cm up from the bottom left side.

Dry emboss the larger top portion of white card, and stamp the greeting on the right side of the bottom portion. Adhere both pieces over the green glitter card. Cut a thin strip of green glitter card, the length of the diagonal cut, and adhere it in place to hide the join.

Die cut a Christmas tree shape from the same green glitter card. Use 1mm foam pads to attach it to the card, to the left of the greeting and overlapping the diagonal cut.

I love the simplicity of this card, both the colour scheme and the design. Thank you for taking the time to visit, I hope you like it too. All the products are linked below.
