Hi Everyone, our regular guest designer Garcia has come up with a Valentine card with a difference. Featuring the new Vintage Typewriter clear stamp set, she has created a card with a strong vintage feel.
To Make the Card
Start with a white 6 x 6 inch blank card. Trim a piece of brown texture paper from the Vintage Emporium pad, to fit the card front exactly. Take a piece of turquoise texture paper and create a square approximately 13cm by tearing the edges to leave a rough distressed finish.
Take a piece of cream card, use a paper scruffer to distress the edges and ink all over with Antique Linen distress ink, emphasising the edges and corners with Vintage Photo. Stamp the vintage typewriter in the middle and add the sentiment to the sheet of paper.
Adhere the brown paper to cover the card front, layer the turquoise paper on top at an angle, then add the stamped typewriter to the centre of the card. To finish add some vintage stamps and vintage crystal embellishments.
Such an unusual card, perfect for a male recipient and a refreshing change from the usual hearts and flowers! Thank you for visiting, I hope you like it too. All the supplies used are linked below.
