Hi Everyone, this card is by our guest designer Garcia. Her brief was to make a Mother’s Day card using the Inkspirational Floral Frame stamp and what a stunner she has come up with! Subtle stamping on rich colours, decorated with flowers and a bit of bling, perfect.

Hand made Mothers Day card with die cut flowers and stamped frame and greeting.

To Make the Card

Cut a piece of white card approx 22cm x 14cm, ink it all over with a combination of Spun Sugar, Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves and Worn Lipstick distress oxides. Cut it down to 16.5cm x 14cm, keep the remaining strip to cut flowers from. Tear around the edges of the larger piece with a deckle edge ruler. Stamp the Inkspirational Floral Frame in the centre of the inked sheet.

Cut a piece of gold card the same size as the internal rectangle on the stamped image. Cut a piece of pink patterned paper the same size and again tear the edges. Stamp the Mother’s Day greeting in the centre of the patterned paper and adhere it over the gold card.

Die cut lots of flowers from the Small Tattered Florals set, in different styles and sizes from the spare inked card. Ink the edges of the petals with a gold ink pad. Cut several small flowers from gold card. layer the bigger flowers up but keep a few of the small gold ones as single layers. Adhere the flowers to the corners of the centre panel in clusters. Add self adhesive crystals to some of the flower centres and to the greeting panel. Add some self adhesive gold metal gems to the inked frame.

There you have it, a fab card, very unusual and just perfect for Mothers Day. Thank you for visiting I hope you like the card too. All the supplies used are linked below.
