Hi everyone, this is the first of 5 quick and easy cards, for last minute makes. I love the simple white and silver colour scheme, and the beautiful die cut deer.

White and silver hand made Christmas card with a reindeer in a die cut and embossed forest.

To Make The Card

Start with a white 6″ x 6″ blank card, and layer it with silver mirror card. Cut a piece of white card 13.5cm x 13.5cm and dry emboss it with the Trees embossing folder. Adhere this layer over the silver layer. Die cut the reindeer from white card, “colour” the antlers with an embossing pen and heat emboss in silver. Add a silver self adhesive gem for the reindeer eye. Adhere the reindeer to the bottom left area of the card.

Die cut two of the Winter Pine Trees from white card and two of the Winter Pine Trees inner layers from silver mirror card. Glue the silver layers on to the white layers, then adhere the trees to the card, slightly overlapping the reindeer and each other. Pop a white and silver die cut Christmas sentiment from the carrier sheet. Gently rub away any notches with a sanding block. Use thin foam pads to adhere the sentiment to the card above the reindeer.

MAKE IT FASTER: Colour the antlers with silver marker pen, instead of heat embossing

NOT IN A HURRY: Stamp and heat emboss a sentiment on white card and mount on silver mirror card.

A lovely card which would work equally well as a winter birthday card, with a suitable sentiment. Thank you for reading, I hope you like the card. All the supplies used are linked below.
