This is the second of the birthday cards that I made using the lovely Four Roses clear stamp, the light on the photograph makes the pink card look more vivid than it actually is, but it helps to show up the gilding.

I started with a white A6 card blank, cut it down to a square, and inked the edges with violet. I made a background panel by stamping the “All things grow with love” text stamp (from the Four Roses set) onto green card with dark green ink, I also inked the edges of the panel with violet which doesn’t actually show up as violet but just darkens the edges a little.
I stamped the rose onto pink card with Indigo Blu Flitterglu and gilded it with gold flake, the card is also edged with Flitterglu and gilded, I did the same for the message but used a gold Happy Birthday peel off for the wording. The rose and the greeting are both mounted on white card which is inked around the edges with violet.
