Hi Everyone, I was very eager to try out this large snowflake die when the stock arrived and I am not disappointed. This is the first card I have made with it and I am sure there will be a lot more to come.

Hand made Christmas card with a dry embossed background and a large, gold die cut snowflake
Start with a white 5 x 7″ blank card, layer this with patterned paper, (I chose a design with glitter snowflakes on to continue the snowflake theme).
Cut a piece of cream pearlescent card 9.5 x 17.5cm, dry emboss with the Snowfall embossing folder and cut it lengthways into two pieces, one 6cm wide and the other 3.5cm. Use foam tape to attach these pieces to the card front leaving a strip in between them to show the patterned paper.
Die cut the snowflake from gold pearl card add self adhesive pearl to the centre and adhere to the card  using foam pads in the centre and tiny dabs of glue, but leaving the ends of the snowflake so that they can lift a little and stop it looking too flat.
A simple peel off greeting in the bottom left corner is all you need to finish it off. This card has all the right ingredients, glitter, shimmer, texture and dimension, with a classic Christmas colour scheme. I hope you like it, thank you for taking the time to read this.
