Hi Everyone, here’s a fab Christmas card made by our new guest designer Garcia Wild – if the name sounds familiar she is my daughter!! Garcia took an immediate liking to the HO HO HO die set and I hope you agree that she put it to good use.

To Make the Card

Start with a white 15cm square blank card, then layer it with dark red card. Cut a piece of dark green card approx. 12.5cm x 12.5cm, use stencil tape to fix the stencil over the green card. Use an embossing ink pad all over the stencil, then gently lift th stencil off. Sprinkle clear embossing powder all over the green card, shake off the excess powder, then heat emboss. Add this layer to the card.

Cut a piece of dark red card approx. 7.5cm x 12cm. Die cut Ho Ho Ho from gold card and adhere to the red panel, one under the other. Cut the small Christmas tree from the Ho Ho Ho die set and adhere it in the centre of the middle “O”. Use adhesive foam tape to attach the Ho Ho Ho panel to the front of the card on the left hand side.

Finish the card with gold adhesive metal gems at the four corners.

I love the combination of the subtle, stencilled background with the shiny Ho Ho Ho, I am looking forward to trying this die set out myself. I hope you like it too, thanks for visiting.
