Hand Made Christmas Card with Stand Up Wreath

I saw this idea on Pinterest and as I am always on the lookout for something new to try I decided to give it a try. I could only find a photo no size information or instructions so I made it up as I went along. Once I had worked out how to make the structure, all I needed to do was add the decorations.

To Make the Card

Cut a piece of dark green card 14cm x 16cm and a piece of white card 13.5cm x 15.5cm. Adhere the white card over the green and die cut a 10cm diameter circle from the middle. Fold the remaining card in half to form the tent fold base for the card. Use two circle dies one 12cm diameter and the other 10cm to cut a frame, do this twice. Cut an 11cm circle of acetate. Adhere the acetate between the two die cut frames. Die cut a Christmas Wishes greeting from gold card and adhere that in the centre of the acetate circle. Adhere the circle to the front of the card base.

Die cut the poinsettias using the two smaller dies from the set, with adhesive crystals in the centre. The white and gold flowers are ready made. Die cut the holly leaves and add red adhesive pearls for the berries. The two berry branches are die cut in gold and the bow is hand tied. Use an ultra high bond tape or glue to attach the various decorations to make sure they stay in place.

I am really pleased with the way this turned out. It would be easy to add other items as decoration to ring the changes. I hope you like it, thank you for visiting.
