After putting loads of new ink pads on the website last week, this week I have been playing with them. Here is one of the results, I will add the others later.
The inks that we stock are a mixture of pigment inks, Tim Holtz distress inks and Chalk Inks so there is plenty of variety.
The cards that I have made are very simple but I love the blended chalk backgrounds.
For this card I used three different inks, Topaz and Scattered Straw are blended to create the background and Dark Brown was used to stamp the image and sentiment and also around the edges of the background. I have experimented with a few different ways of blending the inks, on this card I used makeup sponges, which worked really well. Hope you like it.
Materials Used:
- Cream 12.5cm sq blank card with envelope
- brown and white card
- Tim Holtz Distress Ink Scattered Straw
- Colorbox Catseye Topaz pigment ink pad
- Colorbox Catseye Dark Brown Fluid Chalk ink pad
- Makeup sponges
- 12mm double sided tape
- Grass Stems clear stamp
