Hi Everyone, despite the current UK weather I wanted to make some spring cards, with bright colours and flowers. I love using the Cardio Majestix stamp sets, they are so easy and there are so many ways you can use them. I picked bright colours for the flowers and leaves but softened it a little bit with some inking around the edges of the card and in the stamped areas. I’m very happy with the end result, I hope you like it too. If you want to let me know what you think you can leave a comment below. Thanks for dropping in.

To Make the Card

Start with a 12.5cm square white blank card, then trim a piece of white card to 12cm square.
Stamp the flowers and leaves along the top and left side of the piece of card, stamping in across the corner, also stamp a small area across the opposite corner.  Use an acrylic peg to stamp with to make it easier, stamp two or three times before re-inking to give depth, rotate the stamp between impressions. Stamp three dragonflies in and around the flowers and leaves, and the greeting towards the bottom right hand corner of the card.
When all the ink is dry use a foam ink blending tool to ink Bundled Sage Distress Ink around the edges of the piece of card and over the stamped areas. Finally score a line approximately 0.5cm in from the edge of the card on all four sides to create a border. When the panel is complete adhere it to the front of the card blank using double sided tape.
