Hi Everyone, this is the first card in a new feature I’m launching for newsletters, taking one product and showing three different ways or styles of using it, to help you get the most out of the products you buy from us.

We recently started selling these Crafter’s Companion stamp and die sets and as soon as they arrived in the warehouse my mind was full of ideas for them, which is always a good sign 🙂

Each set contains a stamp and two dies, the dies will cut out either side of the stamped image meaning you can either cut an edge or cut the whole image.

I decided to use the Christmas Candles set and make three different Christmas cards with it.

hand made Christmas card with stamped and die cut Christmas candles and poinsettia

Cut a piece of A4 white card stock long ways to give you a piece 10.5cm wide and fold this to create a 10.5 x 15.1cm blank card. Stamp the candles at the right hand end of the card front, colour them with marker pens or pencils and use the right side die to cut out the edge shape of the candles.

Die cut two tag shapes from green and beige card, stamp the greeting onto the beige tag and adhere this to the green tag, adhere this to the left side of the card front at a slight angle and finish it off with a red satin bow.

I turned out to be a pretty quick and easy card to make but I am very pleased with the results. The stamp gives a nice clear image and the die is easy to position to cut the edge outline. I hope you like it, please leave a comment if you have time, all the products used are linked below.
Thank you for visiting.
