Hi everyone, after my last Valentines card with coffee cups it seemed only fair to do one with tea cups 😊. These stamp and die sets from Avery Elle are so versatile I expect you will be seeing a lot more of them in future.

Hand made Valentine card with stamped and die cut tea cups
There’s not a great deal to explain about the making of this card,  the base is a standard A6 white card blank, layered with turquoise card and then white. I inked the edges of the white card with pink to complement the colours in the card and soften the edges. The pink heart is die cut from a piece of graduated colour paper from a 6 x 6 pad (all supplies are linked below).
The stamp set has two shapes of tea cup so I used one of each, there are a variety of decoration stamps for the tea cups too so you could leave them plain or add a little decoration as I have done here. I wanted to give the impression of a girl and boy cup so used a fairly plain stripe for the boy cup and a fancier one for the girl cup, I also added a small pink adhesive crystal to the girl cup. The cups are both coloured with Copic markers.
I die cut the cups using the co-ordinating set of dies, I glued the green cup directly to the heart and used 1mm foam pads to adhere the pink cup so that it would overlap the green one. The small hearts are cut using dies from the Cool Beans coffee cup set and the sentiment is stamped directly onto the background layer. (I stamped it on before I added anything else in case I messed it up 😉).
Finally I added pink crystals to some of the small hearts to finish it off.
I like this and the coffee cup card as they are colourful and have a slightly humorous message, a change from the usual Valentine cards. I hop you like it too.
Thank you for reading.
