Hi there everyone, I have been itching to try out this new range of stamps and die set from Creative Expressions, finally got my chance a couple of days ago. As the image is of a fairy house I thought I would make it into a New Home card, but of course you could add whatever greeting you like.

Hand made new home card with Oak Hollow stamp, fairy door and fairy, coloured with Copics
The card is made using three stamp sets from the Willowby Woods collection.
Oak Hollow stamps the main tree.

Then I added a door and a small window from the Fairy Doors set.

Finally a fairy from the Elves and Fairies set.

You can see with so many different doors, elves, fairies and accessories it is easy to make lots of different scenes for your cards.
I started out by stamping the Oak Hollow, door and window in black on white card, then coloured the whole thing with Copic markers. I layered it onto co-ordinating dark green and orange card and mounted it all on a 5 x 7 inch white card blank.
I stamped the fairy, again in black onto white card and coloured her with Copies, adding some clear Wink of Stella to her wings to give them a little bit of sparkle. I fussy cut the fairy and adhered her to the steps using foam pads to lift her a little.
Here’s a closer picture of the fairy I hoped you would be able to see her lovely sparkly wings but it still doesn’t show up 🙁
The sentiment is from a different stamp set altogether, I was going to make an inked background for it but the colours didn’t look right to I used the same colour Copics as I had used to colour the tree trunk, the hanging string and nails are drawn on with a black fine liner pen.
I am delighted with the way this turned out, colouring is not my strong point and this is probably the biggest single image I have ever done, so pleased that I didn’t make too many errors. I hope you like it too, please leave a comment if you have a minute to spare. All supplies are linked below.
Thanks for visiting.
