Hi, here’s my first Easter card for this year, with a cute, carrot holding bunny and a signpost to all the Easter activities. They all come from a new die set by Creative Expressions and are great for creating a little Easter scene.

Hand made Easter card with die cut bunny and sign post and frame with wonky stitch lines.

To Make The Card

Cut a piece of blue paper 10.5cm square. Cut a piece of green paper 10.5cm x 4cm. Cut the top of the green piece with a stitched hillside die. Adhere the green to the bottom portion of the blue paper, to create the appearance of a grassy hillside with sky above. Adhere this to the front of a white 12.5cm square card.

Die cut the rabbit from white card, use marker pens to colour the inside of the ears, the eyes, nose and the carrot. Run a pencil lightly along all the embossed lines to give them extra definition. Die cut the bow tie from pink card and adhere to the rabbit.

Cut the signpost from brown card, then use a fine tip black marker pen to fill the embossed writing and lines. Cut three tufts of grass and colour with markers. For the eggs, cut one from the same pink card as the bow tie and another from white card and then colour it the same shade of orange as the carrot.

Stamp the sentiment in the top right hand corner of the sky background, then adhere to the card front. Glue all the elements in place, with the eggs tucked behind a tuft of grass. Die cut a frame with wonky stitch lines from pink card and glue in place around the scene.

A cute card for Easter, with lovely bright colours. Thank you for reading, I hope you like the card. If you want to try it for yourself, all the products used are linked below.
