Hi, I feel this card has a bit of everything with snowflakes, Christmas trees, a wrapped gift and of course a very cute polar bear. He looks very flamboyant with his red scarf flying out behind him.
To Make The Card
Start with a white 5″ x 7″ blank card and trim it down to 12.5cm x 17.5cm to make it easier to cut the layers. Cut a piece of silver glitter card 12cm x 17cm and adhere to the card front. Cut turquoise card 11.5cm x 16.5cm and emboss with the snowflake embossing folder. Adhere the embossed panel to the card front. Make a snowy hillside from white card, 11.5cm wide and approximately 4.5cm high at the peak. Stamp the sentiment in red across the centre of the snowy hillside. Use the same white card to die cut three small Christmas trees.
Cut the pieces of the bear, white for the main body and the arms, grey for the tummy and nose area, red for the scarf, pink for the insides of the ears and black for the nose, eyes and mouth. Use turquoise card to die cut a gift, and silver glitter card for the ribbon on the gift. Assemble the bear so that he is holding the gift. Adhere the snowy hillside to the card front, with the Christmas trees tucked behind, add the bear using thin foam pads so that he is standing on the hillside above the sentiment. Finally cut three snowflakes from silver glitter card and adhere them around the sentiment.
This would be a great card for an adult or a child, and could easily be changed to a winter birthday card. I love the bear, I hope you do too, I’m sure you will be seeing him again before too long. Thank you for visiting, all the products used are linked below.
