Hi Everyone, here’s another Mothers Day card, using lace and flowers, very traditional. I use. d patterned paper from a new in stock paper pad, which has such lovely colours and designs and made a really pretty card. I chose one with a flower design across the top and bottom and used this for the bottom portion of the card.  The plain area was perfect for stamping the greeting and the flower pattern on the bottom edge just finishes it off.

Hand made Mothers Day card with patterned paper background, lace, paper flower and stamped greeting
Start with a white A6 blank card and a piece of dark purple card cut slightly smaller than the card front. Cut two pieces of patterned paper from the pad, one about a third of the height of the purple card and the other about two thirds. Stamp your greeting in purple ink on the bottom piece of paper and adhere the two pieces on top of the purple card.
Cut two flourishes from dark green card and glue to the card front .
Cut a piece of white lace, wrap it around the back of the purple card and use ultra high bond tape to secure it.
Adhere the purple card to the card blank and finish it off with a paper flower on the lace at the point where the two flourishes meet.
