Hi here’s a new Valentine’s Day card, with a clean and simple style. We had the Tangled Hearts border die in stock for Valentine’s last year but I never got round to using it, so it was at the top of my list for this year. I like that you can cut it in different colours and arrange the hearts in whatever colour scheme you choose. It also means that you could make several cards quite quickly by using all the die cut pieces, with the same design in different colour ways on each card.

To Make The Card

Start with a white 12.8cm square blank card, it is this size so that the die cut border will fit exactly. Die cut the Tangled Hearts 3 times, once from white card, once from red card and once from pink card. Pop the hearts out of the frames and put on one side. Take the white frame and carefully trim away the excess, leaving a 12.8cm strip. Adhere the white frame across the card front just below half way. Take four red hearts and three pink hearts and glue them into the frame, so that they alternate colours.

Stamp the sentiment in pink on a narrow strip of white card and adhere below the heart border. Add a couple of pairs of pink self adhesive crystals below and beside the sentiment. As you can see the card is very quick to make, once you have decided on your colours.
