Hi, I love this cute bear and had intended to use him on a Valentine card but forgot all about him. Now I think he is even better suited to a Mothers Day card, with his lovely bouquet of flowers.
To Make The Card
As you can see from the photo this is not a difficult card to make, but I will give the dimensions of the layers etc. for you to use as a guide. Start with a white 5″ x 7″ blank card and trim it down to 12cm x 16cm. Add a layer of pink card 11.5cm x 15.5cm, then cut a piece of pink shaded paper to 11cm x 15cm. Stamp the sentiment in pink ink in the bottom right hand corner of the pink shaded piece. Set it aside for the ink to dry. Cut another piece of pink card 11cm x 5.5cm and a piece of flower patterned paper 11cm x 5cm, adhere the patterned paper over the pink card. Cut a third piece of pink card, 6cm x 10cm and use a stitched rectangle die to cut a piece of the shaded pink paper 5.5cm x 9.5cm. Adhere these two pieces together.
Stamp the bear in black ink on white card, then colour with marker pens or pencils. Colour the flowers in the bouquet to match the flowers in the patterned paper. Once complete fussy cut the bear and adhere him to the stitched rectangle panel.
To finish the card, adhere the stamped shaded pink layer to the card front. Add the horizontal patterned strip across the middle of the card and the bear panel vertically across that. Add trios of pink crystals to the top right and bottom left corners of the background for a bit of sparkle.
