Hi here’s a really quick and easy birthday card that you can adapt to suit your supplies or the intended recipient. I have had several attempts to photograph it but I just can’t seem to get a picture any better than this one, which makes the heat embossed sentiment look a bit strange!
To Make The Card
It hardly seems worth writing this but I will all the same. Cut a piece of blue card 10.5cm x 29.5cm, score and fold it across the middle to make an A6 tent fold card base. Cut gold mirror card 10.5cm x 5cm, emboss with the Beveled Diamonds embossing folder. Position the gold card at the bottom of the card front then stamp the sentiment just above it and to the left side of the card. Heat emboss the sentiment with gold embossing powder.
I think the mirror card looks great when it is embossed, there are all sorts of colour combinations you could try like black and gold or grey and copper or pink and silver for something more feminine. It would also work well in Christmas colours with a simple Merry Christmas sentiment. I hope you like it, all the products used are linked below.
