Hi, this card is made for two very special little boys, who arrived unexpectedly early. The letters on the romper suits are their first name initials. It’s not a difficult card to make and could easily be adapted for girls or mixed twins.

Hand made new baby card to welcome twins, with initialled romper suits and embossed background.

To Make The Card

Start with a 6″ x 6″ blank white card and add a layer of mid blue card. Cut a piece of light blue card 13.5cm square and emboss with the Baby Things embossing folder. Adhere the embossed piece to the card front.

Die cut two romper suits from two shades of light blue card. The detailing around the neck and legs is cut with separate dies, so you can swap the colours and make the trim stand out a bit more. Cut the initial letters from the same mid blue card as the first layer and adhere to the centre of each romper suit. From white card die cut a picot edge square, lay the rompers on it so that you can position the stamps above them. Remove the rompers and use a stamp positioning tool to stamp the words in blue ink. Once the ink is dry glue the picot edge square to the centre of the card.

Glue the rompers in position on the white card. Cut two small hearts and add a small, blue, self adhesive crystal to the centre of each heart. Glue the hearts in opposite corners of the white square.

That’s all there is to it, as I said an easy card to make, not too fussy and with personalisation. It will be going in the post today, I hope the recipients are happy with it.

Thanks for visiting, I hope you like the card, if you want to make it yourself, all the products used are listed below.
