As the name suggests this die is intended to be cut into the edge of a piece of card, the result will be that the word Seasons with Christmas trees either side will cut out of the card and be above the word Greetings surrounded by stars that will be cut into the card. This type of die works very well if cut from plain coloured card which is laid over card of a contrasting colour. The background card could be coloured card with a subtle pattern, anything too busy would clash with the cut out part of the design. You could also use a background made from blended inks or Pixie Powder. You can use the die horizontally but it also looks good set on a slight diagonal.

The die has a detailed design with flourishes, stars and Christmas trees so will need very little else, particularly as the Christmas greeting is also part of the die. You could add some glitter to the Christmas trees and stars or cut the whole thing from pearlescent card to add a little bit of shimmer.

The die measures 14.2cm x 9.5 so would work well on a 15cm square card base allowing room for some layering. The die can be used in most table top die cutting systems.
