Willowby Woods Oak Hollow Cling Rubber Stamp

Part of the Willowby Woods collection by Creative Expressions, Oak Hollow cling rubber stamp is one of the background stamps that can be used to create a fairy dwelling. The stamped image is of an oak tree trunk with various magical looking flowers and plants and some steps in front of it. The main part of the tree trunk is quite blank, this is so that you can add a door, windows and other items like bird boxes, lanterns, milk bottles etc. from the Fairy Doors clear stamp set. Once you have set your scene you can add fairies and elves from the Fairies and Elves clear stamp set, in different sizes and poses,when you add these you can either mask part of the background and stamp them over it or you can stamp them separately, fussy cut them and add them later. Once you have finished your stamped design all you need to do is colour it using marker pens, pencils, water colour etc whichever is your preferred medium.

In this example a round door has been added along with a small window with a window box, the fairy sitting on the steps was stamped and cut out and added after the main image was coloured. The whole thing was coloured with Copic markers and some Clear Wink of Stella was added to the fairy's wings to make them shimmer.

You can of course add many other items to embellish your design and add dimension. The Oak Hollow stamp measures approximately 10cm x 14.75cm
