Snowy Scene Houses Die Cutting Set

Sweet Dixie Snowy Scene Houses die set. This set contains eight separate metal dies to cut hillsides, houses, trees, a church and a fence, everything you need to create fabulous scenes for your hand made cards and decorations.

There are two hillside dies one with a stitch line above the cut line, and one with a stitch line below the cut line, so you can choose whether to have the stitch line or not. The fence die is curved slightly so that it will follow the contour of the hillsides. There is a larger house die with smoke coming from the chimney and on another die, two smaller houses together, plus a church with a spire and a cross on top. You can mix and match these buildings to create a street or village scene. The last two dies are two trees in different sizes that you can include in your street or use in the background.

Although the Houses die set is part of the Snowy Scene collection none of the dies in the set are specifically Christmas or winter themed so you will be able to use this set all year round. To make a winter or Christmas scene, cut your hillsides in white and use glitter or heat embossing to add a dusting of snow to the trees and buildings, or add decorations to the trees to look like Christmas trees. For a spring/summer look cut the hillsides in green and add Tiny Die Cut Flowers to the trees and around the fence. You could even die cut everything in black to create a night time silhouette village against an inked background - so many possibilites.

The set can be used on it's own or combined with the Snowy Scene Deer die set for even more creative possibilities. The dies are compatible with leading brands of die cutting machine. The hillsides are 16cm in length so will cover the front of a large card and the church is 6.3cm tall.
